Compelling Leadership Principles©
Compelling Leadership Principles© are based on Isaiah 9:6 – 7, which says:
"For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulders. And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end."
Leaders are instructed in this passage to look to the Son for guidance on “government”. Most definitions of government include words like policies, guidelines, and how to do things. If we follow the Son’s teaching there are promises; Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. What great and glorious benefits to any organization! The promises have no end and will continue. For leaders the direction is clear. Good leaders first become good sons learning about how to treat their “sons” from the Father.
